hobbies
I have a great number of interests, and above all, three of them have developed into what may be called hobbies, stamp collecting (railways - many of them having been exhibited - and East Germany [DDR]), aquariums and railways.
For a larger - and international - audience my railway hobby is the most reputated, through my railway picture gallery, containing almost 9500 images from 41 countries and 6 continents. For this collection I owe railway and tramway employees in many countries my deep gratitude. Without their benevolence and assistance many of the objects I have taken pictures of, would have been completely out of my reach.
